Mum & Me ~ Handcrafted with LOVE 2/2
Mum & Me ~ Handcrafted with LOVE
As you may or may not have known I have been working on something exquisite with my mum over the past month :)
This is going to be an on-going opportunity for both of us to do more with the products we LOVE to make. As I spin absolutely divine next to skin one of a kinds. Mum - Kathleen Hansen from Kamah's Kreations will be designing some stunning pieces to make with them. She is making these stunning garments for me to sell or use as displays for future gallery exhibitions and future custom sets + made garment to orders.
I have been asked on more then one occasion how to use my yarns, what hook or needle size to use for the different types of finished handspun's especially my Signature Yarns which I use allot of curly fibers like mohair which can be tricky to use but its just soo divine and makes stunning wears for close to skin, color and texture. So we are creating this line in order to help you all understand more about just how beautiful Handspun yarns are when created into a stunning garment, what needle & hook sizes suits what type of yarn, and what patterns suit the type of yarns your interested in purchasing. And if your like me and just don't knit or crochet you are able to purchase something of mine premade or as a custom order with color combos you prefer.
Each Item I will add the garment with the yarn's used so if you would like something made up in the color's you love, you can contact me with a custom order. All fiber used I will say if its a one of a kind (from my custom carded fiber) or if it can be duplicated in any color (using Charly's from IxCHEL Bunny).
I will price these pieces if they are for sale and accordingly taking into consideration how much the yarn costs and the time it took to make. They are all pieces of ART made with top quality fiber and handspun yarns.
These garments will also be made with Handspun sets and with Luxury & Exotic fibers costing me from $25 per 50-100g - $50 per 100g of fiber. All yarns used in these pieces will range around $40 - $75 per 100 - 150g each. Most of these pieces will use only 1- 3 skeins of my yarn to create.
Enjoy! Many more pretties to come soon!
